Good News For Canada

For the third straight year in Canada, employers plan to add full-time permanent positions in 2012 (34% of employers vs 32% last year). Canadians have said that their top priority in 2012 is paying off debt; very prudent. Canada scored an ‘A’ for the second best performance among the G7 in 2011. Canada’s real estate economy was only one of three that showed year-over-year increases (France and Switzerland being the other two). We have the second largest reserve of oil and most of the world’s freshwater. I could go on. Why the sad faces, Canadians? If anyone should be smiling and happy in 2012, it’s Canadians.
